Vijaya Lakshmi Nadendla, born on June 1, 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1995 Bihar cadre. She currently serves as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Planning and Development Department of Bihar since December 30, 2025. Dr. Nadendla holds a Ph.D. in Management from IIT Delhi, an Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy from ISB Hyderabad, and an M.Sc. in Anthropology. Her past roles include Assistant Collector, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, and District Collector. She has received multiple awards, including the Digital India Awards, ISGF Innovation Award 2022, and the Global Agriculture Leadership Award 2018. She is proficient in English, Hindi, and Telugu
