Vijaya Kumar J., born on 29 January 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Internal Medicine from The T. N. Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Currently, he serves as Deputy Secretary at the Department of Space in Bengaluru since April 2022. His past roles include Director, Managing Director, Collector and District Magistrate, Municipal Commissioner, Executive Director, Sub-Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector, and Deputy Secretary. He is proficient in English, Tamil, and Hindi. Vijaya Kumar J. continues to serve in the IAS.
