Vijay Pal Singh, born on 22 July 1933, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics and a postgraduate degree in Geography. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Collector, Junior Scale officer, Under Secretary, OSD to Minister, Additional Collector, Joint Secretary, and District Collector. His most recent position was District Collector at Raigarh, Madhya Pradesh, from May 1990 to July 1991. Singh’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple roles within the Madhya Pradesh government during his tenure in the IAS.
