Vijay Nehra, a 2001-batch IAS officer from the Gujarat cadre, holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry from IIT Bombay and an M.P.P. in Public Affairs from UC Berkeley. He currently serves as the Joint Secretary to the Government of India at the Department of Health and Family Welfare. Proficient in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, Nehra was born on 06/07/1975.
