Vijay Bhushan Pathak, born on 18 September 1964, is a 1990 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Sikkim cadre. He holds a graduate degree and an M.Sc. Currently, he serves as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Sikkim since 1 September 2022. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner & Secretary, Secretary, Additional District Magistrate & Collector, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
