He holds a B.E. from Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, an LL.B. from Mumbai University, and an M.B.A. from IIM Ahmedabad. Currently serving as Secretary in the Tribal Development Department, Mumbai since September 30, 2023, his past roles include Secretary, Joint Managing Director, Managing Director, Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Chief Executive Officer, SDO, Supernumerary Assistant Collector, and Assistant Collector. He received the Rajiv Gandhi Prashasakiya Gatimanata (Pragati) Abhiyan award in 2009
