Venkatesapathy S, born on March 10, 1982, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2009 Kerala cadre batch. He holds a B.Tech. in Production Engineering from Anna University Chennai, an M.A. in Public Policy, and a P.G. diploma in Law & Governance from IGNOU Delhi. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary (Shipping) in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways since March 21, 2025. His previous roles include Managing Director, Director, District Collector, Secretary, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Tamil and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
