Venkat Raja, born on 22 February 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2013 batch, serving in the Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.A. Honours in History from Rajasthan College, University of Rajasthan, and an M.A. in Geography from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Currently, he is the Commissioner at Karnataka in the Department of Survey Settlement and Land Records, a position he has held since 1 January 2026. His previous roles include Assistant Secretary and Deputy Commissioner. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Kannada. Venkat Raja continues to serve in the IAS.
