Veena Ish, born on 18 May 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. She holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Commerce. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Special Commissioner, Additional Secretary, and Secretary. Her extensive experience spans roles such as Project Director, District Development Officer, and Principal Commissioner. Most recently, she was appointed Vigilance Commissioner at Andhra Pradesh from 3 February 2024. Veena Ish’s career reflects a broad spectrum of administrative responsibilities within the state government.
