Ved Prakash, born on 22 February 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch of the A G M U T cadre. He holds graduate degrees in Law and English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Director, Chairman, General Manager, Additional Commissioner, Commissioner & Secretary. His most recent role was Principal Secretary in the Irrigation and Flood Control Department from 28 July 2011 to 28 February 2013.
