Ved Pati Misra, born on September 1, 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. Currently serving as the Director General in the Department of Tourism, Uttar Pradesh since January 12, 2026, he has held various key positions including Special Secretary, Special Secretary Director, District Magistrate, Managing Director, and Secretary. Throughout his career, Misra has contributed to the administration of Uttar Pradesh in multiple capacities. He remains in active service within the IAS.
