Vatsala Vasudeva, an IAS officer of the 1995 batch from the Gujarat cadre, was born on July 1, 1970. She holds a B.A. Honors in English Literature from Delhi University and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Currently, she serves as the Managing Director at Gujarat Industrial Power Company Ltd., Vadodara, a position she has held since August 20, 2018. Her extensive career includes roles such as Commissioner & Secretary, Secretary to Governor, District Collector, and Joint Chief Executive Officer. She is proficient in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Gujarati and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
