Vasantha Kumar N, born on 15 April 1975, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2004 batch, serving in the A G M U T cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. from Madras University and an M.D. in Medicine. Currently, he is the Commissioner & Secretary at Ladakh, appointed on 12 September 2023, working in the Forest and Wild Life Department. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Commissioner & Secretary, Executive Director, Special Commissioner, Project Officer, Additional Secretary, and Director. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Tamil. Vasantha Kumar N continues to serve in the IAS.
