Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar
Varjeet Walia, born on 20 December 1991, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2018 batch, Punjab cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Commissioner at Patiala since 22 January 2026. His previous roles include Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Additional Secretary, Additional CEO, and Deputy Commissioner. Walia continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration of Punjab.
