Vandita Sharma, an IAS officer of the 1986 Karnataka cadre batch, was born on November 10, 1963. She holds a graduate degree in Sociology and a postgraduate degree in English. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary, Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Managing Director, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Project Administrator, Mission Director, India Country Director, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, and Assistant Commissioner. Her most recent role was Chief Secretary to Government in the Coordination Department from May 31, 2022, to November 30, 2023. She is now retired from the Indian Administrative Service.
