V Thangavelu, born on 15 November 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 batch of the Tamil Nadu cadre. Throughout his career, he held various significant positions including Director, Managing Director, Executive Director, Joint Secretary, and District Collector.
