V S Sinha

V S Sinha, born on 27 June 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1960 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Mathematics and is also a graduate in French and Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Principal Secretary. His most recent role was Commissioner at Gujarat from 1 April 1992 to 30 June 1996. He was associated with the Department of Finance during his service.
