V S Gopalkrishn, born on 17 October 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1962 Maharashtra cadre. Throughout his career, he held various key positions including Additional Secretary at Maharashtra, Commissioner, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, CEO, Assistant Collector, and Director. He possesses a postgraduate degree in Physics, a certificate in Italian, and a diploma in French. His extensive service in the IAS encompassed diverse administrative roles, culminating in his role as Additional Secretary before retirement.
