V Rashmi Mahesh, born on 21 February 1974, is a 1996 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Karnataka cadre. She holds a B.A. degree and is proficient in Hindi and Kannada. Currently, she serves as the Principal Secretary in the School Education and Literacy Department, Karnataka, a position she assumed on 26 March 2025. Throughout her career, she has held various roles including Managing Director, Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary to Government, Special Commissioner, Regional Commissioner, Directorate General, Executive Director, Commissioner, Director, Additional Commissioner, Member Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Joint Registrar, Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, and Principal Secretary.
