V Pandian, born on May 1, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Economics and a graduate degree in Law. During his career, he served in various capacities including Special Commissioner, Director, and Sub Collector. His most recent posting was as District Collector of Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, from May 29, 2004, to April 30, 2005. He also held the position of Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department.
