V Lalithalakshmi, an IAS officer of the 2008 batch belonging to the West Bengal cadre, was born on 25/11/1978. She holds a B.Com. from Osmania University Hyderabad, M.Com. from Madurai Kamaj University, and M.A. from IGNOU Delhi. Fluent in English and Tamil, she currently serves as the Secretary at the Capacity Building Commission (CBC).
