V Kannuchamy, born on July 7, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, ADC to Governor, District Collector, and Joint Commissioner. His most recent position was Chief Executive Officer of the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, a role he held from January 23, 2009, to July 31, 2012. Throughout his career, Kannuchamy contributed to the administrative framework of Tamil Nadu until his retirement.
