V Kalaiarasi, born on March 29, 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2005 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. She holds an M.Sc. degree and has served in various capacities including Director, Special Secretary, and Special Secretary to Government. Currently, she is the Commissioner at Tamil Nadu in the Welfare of Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Department, a position she has held since July 6, 2025. Ms. Kalaiarasi continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of Tamil Nadu.
