V K Jeyakodi, born on December 20, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Electronics and an M.B.A. in Internal Business. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, and Secretary to the Chief Minister. He was the Additional Chief Secretary from January 8, 2018, to November 12, 2018. His most recent role was Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. Jeyakodi’s extensive experience spans multiple administrative and leadership positions within the Tamil Nadu government.
