V K Bhardwaj, born on May 2, 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Punjab cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Joint Secretary, Member, Director, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department from February 1, 1999, to May 31, 2000.
