V J Rajput, born on 23 December 1965, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2009 batch, belonging to the Gujarat cadre. He holds an L.L.B. degree and is proficient in Gujarati. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner at Gandhinagar in the Department of Persons with Disabilities, a position he has held since 9 July 2021. His previous roles include Municipal Commissioner and Chief General Manager. He has also experienced a period of suspension during his service. V J Rajput continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
