V. Hekali Zhimomi, born on March 5, 1971, is a 1996 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. She currently serves as the Principal Secretary in the Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department of Uttar Pradesh since February 18, 2026. Her extensive career includes roles such as Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary to Government, Director (Census Operations), Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner, and Joint Magistrate. Ms. Zhimomi holds graduate-level education in Physiology and postgraduate studies in Social Work. She is proficient in English and Nagamese and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
