V H Shah, born on October 4, 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Gujarat cadre. He holds an M.A. in Economics and an LL.B. in Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, District Collector and District Magistrate, Registrar, Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Development Commissioner, Managing Director, Secretary, and Settlement Commissioner at Gujarat from January to October 2004. His most recent association was with the Assam Rural Infrastructure & Agril Services Project (ARIASP) in Assam. Shah’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles across departments.
