He holds a B.V.Sc. from Madras Veterinary College, LL.B. from Delhi University, and M.V.Sc. in Parasitology from IVRI Bareilly (UP). Fluent in Hindi and Tamil, he currently serves as the Principal Secretary at the Planning Department.
