Throughout his career, Rawat served in various capacities including District Collector, Settlement Officer, Additional Collector, Under Secretary, Junior Scale officer, Director, Additional Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Secretary, and Commissioner. His most recent position was Secretary in the SC/ST Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh from 7 May 2003 to 31 July 2003. Rawat’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple levels of governance within the Madhya Pradesh state government.
