V C Rawat, born on 28 July 1943, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Settlement Officer, Additional Collector, Under Secretary, Junior Scale officer, Director, Additional Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Secretary, and Commissioner. His most recent position was Secretary in the SC/ST Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh from 7 May 2003 to 31 July 2003.
