V B Buch, born on 21 February 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1964 Gujarat cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Vice Chairperson at Gujarat from December 1997 to May 1998, Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, District Development Officer, and Assistant Collector. His service was primarily associated with the Department of Water Resources. Mr. Buch’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple senior roles within the Gujarat state government.
