Utpal Mukherjee, born on 12 August 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch of the West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in the Commerce and Industry Department. His most recent designation was E/O Additional Secretary from 26 August 2011 to 18 May 2012. Prior to this, he held positions as Director and Joint Secretary.
