Usha Padhee, an IAS officer of the 1996 Odisha cadre, was born on June 1, 1969. She holds a B.E. and an M.P.A. Currently, she serves as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department of Odisha since February 3, 2026. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner & Secretary, Special Secretary, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Collector, and Principal Secretary to Government. She is proficient in English and Kannada and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
