Urmila Surendra Shukla, born on 25 February 1966, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 Madhya Pradesh cadre. She holds an LL.B. and an M.A. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, Director, OSD-Cum-Commissioner-Cum-Director, and Ex-Officio Additional Secretary. Her most recent role was as Ex-officio Secretary in the Culture Department from 1 January 2024 to 28 February 2026. Ms. Shukla’s extensive experience spans multiple leadership positions within the administrative framework of Madhya Pradesh.
