Umashankar Bhargav, born on April 12, 1968, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre. He is currently serving as Director at Madhya Pradesh in the Raj Bhavan department since February 16, 2026. Prior to this role, he held the position of Additional Secretary to the Governor. Mr. Bhargav continues to contribute to the administrative framework of Madhya Pradesh through his service in the IAS.
