Uma Verma, born on September 10, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. She holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities including Commissioner, Secretary Director, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, and Managing Director. Her most recent position was Director in the Department of Planning and Programme Implementation from April 24, 2000, to September 30, 2002. Throughout her career, she contributed to multiple administrative roles within the Uttar Pradesh cadre before retiring from service.
