Uday Narain Thakur, born on April 4, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1995 Bihar cadre. Throughout his career, he held several key positions including Director, Managing Director, District Collector and Magistrate, and Joint Secretary. His most recent role was Director in the Department of Handlooms, serving from January 18, 2011, to April 30, 2011.
