U N Sinha, born on July 17, 1937, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Bihar cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Development Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, and District Collector and Magistrate. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department from February 1, 1992, to July 1, 1995.
