A graduate by education, he served in various capacities within the Municipal Corporation department. His notable positions include Additional Municipal Commissioner at Pune, Maharashtra, CEO, District Collector, and Additional Collector. Throughout his career, Dangat contributed to the administration and governance of Maharashtra until his retirement.
