Tripurari Sharan, born on June 30, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Sociology and a graduate degree in Physics. Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, Director, Secretary, Director General, Commissioner of Inquiries Secretary, and Private Secretary. His most recent position was Chief Secretary to the Government in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from July 1, 2021, to September 30, 2021.
