Tinku Biswal is a 1997 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Kerala cadre. Born on 15 January 1971, she holds a Masters in Public Policy from Princeton University and an M.A. degree. She is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Local Self Government Department, Kerala, since 15 September 2025. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Secretary to Government, Commercial Tax Commissioner, Chairperson, Chairman, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Executive Director, Director, Chief Executive Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, Sub Collector, and Assistant Collector. She is proficient in Hindi and Oriya.
