Thanga Kaliyaperumal, born on May 1, 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Tamil Nadu cadre. He served in various capacities including District Collector, Joint Commissioner, Commissioner, Director, Managing Director, Additional Director, and Secretary. His most recent role was Secretary in the Urban Development department from February 19, 2013, to April 30, 2014. He holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration, a postgraduate degree in Philosophy, and an LL.M. in Law. Throughout his career, he contributed to multiple administrative functions within the Tamil Nadu government.
