Tapendra Kumar, born on July 1, 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Rajasthan cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Philosophy, an M.A. in Sanskrit, and a graduate degree in Hindi. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Administrator, Chairman, Commissioner, Housing Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Member, Director, Special Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional Commissioner, Additional Collector (Development), and S.D.O. His most recent position was Chairman of the Rajasthan Tax Board at Ajmer from April 9, 2013, to June 30, 2014.
