Tapas Roy, born on 20 February 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 batch, serving in the Tripura cadre. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree. Currently, he is the Secretary of the OBC, Minority Welfare Department, a position he has held since 18 June 2021. Mr. Roy continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
