Tapan Kumar Majumdar, born on July 7, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, holding the position of Joint Secretary from January 1, 2004, to July 31, 2005. His career also includes the role of Additional District Magistrate. Mr. Majumdar is a graduate and contributed to the administrative services until his retirement.
