Tanvi Garg, born on January 6, 1985, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, assigned to the A G M U T cadre. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Currently serving as Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change in New Delhi since January 1, 2026, Tanvi has previously held the position of Director. She is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Tanvi Garg continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
