Tanu Kashyap, born on 10 August 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2005 Punjab cadre. She holds a B.A. from Delhi University and an M.A. and M.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently serving as Director General at NIFT since 7 December 2023, her previous roles include Secretary, Director, Joint Development Commissioner, Commissioner, Transport Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Junior Scale, and Assistant Commissioner. Fluent in English and Hindi, Kashyap continues to contribute to public administration in her ongoing service.
