Tanmay Kumar, born on 27 September 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Civil and Foundation Engineering from IIT Delhi. Currently on leave since 14 April 2026, he has served in various capacities including Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Commissioner, and District Collector. His awards include the National Award for e-Governance, Certificate of Honour and Silver Medal from the President of India, and the Reena Sandhu Memorial Gold Medal. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
