Tanmay Kumar, an IAS officer of the 1993 batch from Rajasthan cadre, holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engg and an M.Tech. in Foundation Engg from IIT Delhi. He currently serves as the Special Secretary at the MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST & CLIMATE CHANGE. Fluent in English and Hindi, Kumar was born on 27/09/1966.
