Talleen Kumar, born on 28 July 1963, is a retired IAS officer from the 1987 West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, an M.Tech. from IIT Delhi, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas. During his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Executive Director, Director, District Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Officer. His most recent role was as Member at the Department of Space in Bangalore, Karnataka, from 25 March 2021 to 31 July 2023.
