T V Venkataraman, born on January 20, 1943, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Director, Joint Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, and Executive Magistrate. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Science and Technology Department from December 2, 2002, to January 31, 2003.
